Your Birth
A note from the midwives…
Your Pregnancy and Birth Gently Supported
When your labour begins, your chosen midwife will join you as soon as you feel ready - whether it be at home or at the birth centre.
From early labour through to the birth of your baby, you will have continuous support and the calm, reassuring, and known presence of your midwife by your side.
We trust in the natural wisdom of women’s bodies and take a respectful, low-intervention approach to birth and encourage informed decision making through open communication. We carefully monitor you and your baby’s wellbeing, remaining attentive and ready to respond should anything unexpected arise. With a familiar and trusted midwife beside you, you can focus on your labour knowing you are in safe, capable, and experienced hands.
We will also provide our support through gentle guidance, comfort measures, supportive positioning and water immersion should that feel like the right thing for you.
Above all, we provide steady encouragement and calm reassurance throughout.
After your baby arrives, we protect your first precious hours together and ensure that you and baby are well. We prioritise uninterrupted time to bond before we help you shower and settle into bed for a well-deserved rest.
Families birthing at our Birth Centre may stay for up to 24 hours after the birth, with the option to extend your stay (subject to availability, additional nightly fee), allowing you time to rest, recover, and begin life with your new baby in a peaceful, home-like setting.
Our commitment to natural birth choice provides:

Provide connection point to endorsed midwives
